1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, purchasing, or using AI Inspector (operated by surveynrcs), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.
2. Baseline Tool & No Professional Advice
AI Inspector provides an automated artificial intelligence tool that synthesizes user-provided digital photographs and text notes into a draft Microsoft Word (.docx) document.
- Draft Baseline Only: The generated report is strictly a draft reference document to assist users in creating initial write-ups.
- Not a Certified Inspection: The report does not constitute, represent, or replace an on-site, physical, professional, engineering, electrical, plumbing, or licensed home inspection.
- No Trade Certification: surveynrcs does not provide certified building code compliance checks or structural warranties.
3. Absolute Limitation of Legal Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
surveynrcs, its founders, contractors, service providers, and partners shall have zero legal liability or responsibility for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:
- Omission of defects, hidden structural failures, water leaks, mold, toxic substances, or foundation issues not identified by the AI.
- Financial losses, repair costs, property devaluation, or failed real estate transactions.
- Personal injury, property damage, or contractual disputes resulting from reliance on the report.
In all cases, our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to this service is strictly limited to the actual amount paid by you for the specific report transaction (e.g., $4.99).
4. User Responsibilities & Due Diligence
You are exclusively responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and independently evaluating any document produced by this service. You agree that before making any purchase, sale, repair, structural alteration, or legal commitment, you will consult with licensed, qualified, and insured trade contractors and structural engineers.
5. Payment, Pricing & Refund Policy
Each inspection report generation is billed as a one-time transaction ($4.99 CAD in Canada, $4.99 USD elsewhere) processed securely via Stripe. Because AI compute and vision processing resources are expended immediately upon checkout completion, all sales are final once report compilation begins.
6. Modifications to Service and Terms
surveynrcs reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service or update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated terms.
